Our GAZEBO is DONE!

Borys and Steve worked tirelessly on the gazebo…Borys calls it a Lanai…I call it a gazebo…anyways it is an outdoor room now that we can go and relax. The kids love riding their bikes around the pool…yes, we have it covered and they actually are pretty good going around the corners so I think they are safe and they will probably look back and think I can't believe they let us ride our bikes around the pool! Roman in particular is into bikes right now, and going really fast. Amelia has graduated to a big 20 inch bike and we are working on riding it without training wheels. Big accomplishments in the Kohut household! Annelise is sitting up! Roman burns rubber! Amelia is finding balance! Borys finished a place where I can find my own balance between all the happenings of life. I love it & honey, it looks great!

If it is too hot, then stay out of the KITCHEN!

Well, it is a work in progress and slow progress it is. However, I am so grateful that my husband is hardworking and frugal. He is a real D-I-Y, why would I pay someone to do it, I can do it better than someone else, type of guy. He is a chip off the old block so to say because his dad is the same way, but less of a perfectionist than my husband. Steve, my father-in-law has come to help Borys re-do the kitchen and he has been working tirelessly on the kitchen while we go to work. He sleeps, works, eats, repeat. It is coming along great and the final product will be posted. However, here are some pictures in the interim.

The best part of my father-in-law is he knows that it is the wife’s final say and he always confers with me before making any decision. I don’t know if that is wisdom that comes with 40+ years of marriage or if it is my blessed mother-in-law, Roma, who I owe the thank you too. It is probably a combination of both. So, THANK YOU to my in-laws I would still be living in the Taco Bell kitchen without you!
