Sick Day

Well, Borys, Roman and Annelise are all sick! Fevers, runny nose (or bloody nose as Roman calls it) and CRANKINESS! So, I decided I would work from home today. I figured they needed mommy time and Borys although sick had to go to work, but he is the one who started this illness chain to begin with, and thus he has subjected me to the illness. However, I am determined to stay healthy!! I have to admit I like being home with them on sick days - it is the trying to work from home that I hate. However, I decided today that I am not going to stress about trying to work or worry about staying home with sick kids because they are my first priority and worrying about it won't change the fact that they are home sick. It is life. I found out though today after I picked up Amelia from school that she went to the nurses office because she said she was sick. The front office looked at her had her lay down for a bit and then she returned to class. When she told me about this, I wondered if she has found a way to skip class and then I realized that she simply wanted to be home with me because she knew that I was home with her sick siblings. She is a pretty crafty kid. So, it confirms for me not to worry about work, I am focusing on what is important...the kids.
